Something Feels Off, I Just Can’t Name It

What it feels like
You’re not sure what to call it. Things don’t feel right, but nothing feels “bad enough” to point to.

You keep going. You show up, get through things, carry on. From the outside, it can look fine.

But there’s a sense underneath it. That something has shifted. You might feel more tired, more flat, or more on edge than usual. You just can’t quite pin it down.

Why this happens
Stress doesn’t always show up clearly. It can build slowly, in the background.

If you’re used to coping, you can adjust to it without noticing. What once felt like “a lot” starts to feel normal.

The fact that you’re still functioning can make it harder to take seriously.

Practical Pause
Instead of trying to label it, get curious about patterns.

For the next few days, notice when you feel more like yourself, and when you don’t. What time of day is harder? What drains you? What gives even a small lift? If it helps, set a reminder on your phone.

You’re not trying to fix anything. You’re trying to gain a little clarity.

Ask yourself...
What has changed for me over the last few months?

What am I putting up with now that I wouldn’t have before?

And if I’m honest, do I want things to carry on like this?
